Chris Mruk, Ph.D., has worked in a variety of clinical settings, directed the counseling center at St. Francis College, taught at Firelands College of Bowling Green State University, trained and supervised clinicians, and researched self-esteem. He is a consulting psychologist to Firelands Community Hospital of Sandusky, Ohio.
Joan Hartzell, R.N, M.A., is a psychiatric nurse and psychotherapist and a practicing Buddhist.
