Albert Bandura is David Starr Jordan Professor of Social Science in Psychology at Stanford University and past president of the American Psychological Association. He has received the Distinguished Scientific Contributions Award of the American Psychological Association and the William James Award. He has received honorary degrees from 11 universities and is the author of nine books, including SOCIAL FOUNDATIONS OF THOUGHT and ACTION: A SOCIAL COGNITIVE THEORY.
