EXPRESSIVE THERAPIES
Cathy A. Malchiodi , editor
Guilford Publications, 2005
LEARNING OBJECTIVES: The reader will be familiar with expressive therapies: art, music, dance/movement, drama, poetry, play, sandtray, and integrative approaches. The reader will know the major assessment and evaluation methods in each approach, how to implement interventions in practice, applications for specific clinical problems and populations, and requisite materials and training experiences and where to obtain them.
This book offers a comprehensive presentation of these innovative and powerful modalities. Experienced therapists describe their approaches with children, adults, and groups. Particular attention is given to integrating expressive work with other forms of psychotherapy.
